V12 Australian Funeral Directors Association

The Australian Funeral Directors Association (AFDA) regularly runs events open to non members, celebrants and for people who work in and around the funeral industry.

The events open to celebrants to attend are:
VIC - Women in Funeral Service (WIFS)
NSW – Ladies Influencing Funeral Excellence (LIFE)
QLD – Funeral Industry Training Day (FITD)

Women and men are welcome to attend these AFDA events.

The ACCN puts notices received from AFDA about these seminars in the NEWS section (see the last event as an example) of the Funeral Options website, You may subscribe to our News section via RSS feeds. (See Below)

The program is very suitable for celebrants / counsellors or anyone working in the funeral and grief & bereavement industries.

The AFDA have moved away from just funeral specific topics so these seminars would be of interest to many.
