Unhappy with your celebrancy training ?

In response to concerns regarding poor training by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) , it is evident that some new celebrants, and those awaiting appointment,  may be unaware that they may not have been adequately trained.

The national training package for marriage celebrants requires, among many other requirements, that students perform a marriage ceremony during their training.

This is an essential element, and it has become evident that many new celebrants have not conducted a marriage ceremony before being appointed.

If you feel that you have not been trained in accordance with the required standard, you should first contact your training provider to seek a satisfactory resolution.

If you are still not satisfied, then you should contact the registering body in the state in which the RTO is registered.
