• Is not marriage an important enough part of our social structure and family lives for the government to set aside only $ 4 million of its extra $ 1.8 billion in the budget for Building Australia's Future Workforce to look after the administration of the Marriage Act?

• Are there not other ways to address the staffing problems of the Marriage Law and Celebrants Section

• Make a comment on the Commonwealth Department of Finance website
• Attend a 'Community Consultation' with the Commonwealth Marriage Registrars
• Write a letter to your local Member of Parliament
• Send a note to The Editor of your local paper (scroll down when you click on this link)
• Tell your family and friends on FaceBook to have their say too
