Consultations to commence in October 2011

• Consultations will take place across the country in October and November 2011. Further details are available from the schedule below. 
• Some venues have limits in place with respect to the number of attendees.


• The Attorney General's Department seek the cooperation of marriage celebrants proposing to attend and request that they nominate their preference in accordance with the information in the schedule, including for the consultations in Melbourne.


• Please note that details of these events may change—particularly the venue. We encourage marriage celebrants to re-visit the schedule closer to the date to confirm meeting details, including venue.

Marriage celebrants should monitor this website regularly to ensure they keep up to date with information and are able to take advantage of opportunities to participate in the consultation process. Alternate ways for participation in the consultation process will continue to be offered to all marriage celebrants.
