V15 SAGE: 101 Faces of Age

Looking for something a little different for a gift this Christmas or New Year Celebration?

I had the pleasure of visiting the SAGE Exhibition when it was held in Bowral NSW recently.

Robyn Lambert, artist and photographer, brought together 101 photos of 101 people of different ages from 6 weeks to 104.

A wonderful display of different faces and expressions. Alongside were comments about age by those interviewed.

As celebrants we work with people of different ages in celebrating life and are often called upon to share words of wisdom and encouragement.

Robyn says she was moved  .. "by the sage-like qualities of the younger and ... the wisdom of the ordinary person of the streets."

With the encouragement of so many who visited her exhibition, Robyn decided to create a 106 page A4 soft covered book combining these black and white photos with snippets of her conversation about age with the person or people interviewed.
