I want play our favorite song at our wedding and have some of the words and the chorus printed on a keepsake for our guests (about 60). The song has been re-produced many times by diferent artists and I don't know who is the orriginal. Do I need permission to do this ... can our celebrant do this for us or will we have to do it ourselves ... will we have to pay extra ???

Copy Right laws are very strict now and MUST be followed accordingly to guidelines, that is if you dont want to be sued for breaching these laws. Though the song may be very old, there still may be a copy right protection on this. Here is a link where you can read up on what you need to know.
