Wedding with a Scottish Touch

Wedding with a Scottish Touch
Celebration/ Celebrant/ Entrant (Alias): Wedding
City: Bundanoon    State: NSW

Having a civil ceremony gives you complete control over how you would like the  ceremony conducted e.g the style and type of ceremony, the length of time it goes for, how you walk in and out and what is said etc etc.

We us we wanted a Celt feel to it.

It really made us think seriously about the ceremony and what we wanted to convey to each other. It made the ceremony very personal and intimate but included our family and friends also, like they were part of it.

We really enjoyed putting it all together as a couple with Rona's guidance. We trusted Rona and knew we were in good hands as Rona made alot of effort to get to know us before hand, so that it felt and sounded natural as though she had known us for years.

The best thing about the ceremony was it was relaxed, good fun and moving at the same time. It dispenced of the airs and graces that was not us. Hey Rona!!! All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed our ceremony, that it was funny, moving and not too long.

Rona suggested we write a little surprise piece of "what we appreciated about the other" to be included just before our Vows. This was emailed to Rona separately as a little surprise gift !

We're not sure what she thought of Joseph's, but she went with the flow, not editing or suggesting any change. If you knew Joseph, his sense of humour and the Scottish accent you'd realise it was just perfect for Lisa !!

Joseph's words of appreciation

Lisa, since we met each other it has been pissing down continuously,
However
Not only have I learned to dance in the rain with you
but I have learnt to swim in the puddles.
U can now take your foot off my head
As I am here for you always

Lisa's words of appreciation

Joseph, there are many reasons why I want to marry you here are just a few

1. you are thoughtful and kind to Ella and I
2. You are funny and you have this great big loud laugh that only a woman who loves you could love ....
oh and your mother
3. You run your own race
4. you have these cute little routines and habits that annoy but wouldn't want you to change
5. you dance with me in the rain, soak with me in the sunshine
6. Most importantly, you get me!
Last but not least - gotta love that Scottish accent and love a bloke in a skirt (kidding a kilt)
You are awfully cute and you give great feet massages !!
