I hope you recognise me - I'm the cute one holding the balloons !

For Mother's Day I just want to say how special you are to me. Growing up - being able to stay school holidays with you and Nana and Pop - was such an important part of my childhood and youth. You've been my other 'mother' - one who seemed more on my wavelength - someone I could talk to and share confidences.

I especially remember being brought a cup of tea and a slice of buttered bread in bed to start the day. And breakfasts with paw paw and ground coffee - so different from home.

I always wanted to say thank you too for covering for me when I came home late. So inconsiderate of me - now I can see how concerned you must have been. Well have a great day ... and I love you and wish for you every happiness and dreams come true.
