My passion in life is being of service to others. Few things have a more profound effect on us than being the recipient of great service. We always remember and talk about the times we received exceptional service and we seldom forget where we received it and from who we received it. So "I am at your service" expresses my main goal with my celebrancy practice.
My main career was as flight attendant for an international airline for 30 years, retiring from the airline in 2002 as a Flight Service Director. I then owned and operated a restaurant for four years, before becoming a butler and family manager for a busy family who operated a furniture import business.
Today I live in Darley, Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, and my celebrancy services are available state wide., even nationwide if I can be of service to someone.
Celebrancy gives a great opportunity to provide people with the very best service in helping them design and deliver a meaningful and genuine ceremony for what ever occasion it is required.
Funeral work in particular can be most rewarding when, because of the quality of the ceremony you provide, you are able to help people come to terms with one of the most stressful periods in their lives and help them to grieve and come to terms with their loss.
It is gratifying and almost overwhelming when the family and friends at the funerals I have officiated at express their heartfelt gratitude to me that the ceremony was a personal and honest account of the life of their loved one.
Marriage, commitment and naming ceremonies are occasions for great joy and celebration, and once again it is the quality of a well constructed ceremony, delivered with sincerity, style and warmth that will really enhance the day, and remain in the memories of the people concerned as a highly important and significant
I offer a full range of ceremonies - marriages, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies, renewal of vows, divorce ceremonies, funerals and any of life’s occasions that may be required
Our personal rituals and beliefs, I beleive, are an intrinsic part of us all as human beings. They play a very important role when we mark the milestones in our lives. Whatever the ceremony, it is a very personal occasion for our couples and families, and each ceremony should be structured solely around their requirements. I cannot stress highly enough that I see the ceremony is all about the couple or family and their needs. My role is to help facilitate the process, deal with the legal aspects and to ensure that after lengthy consultations, all goes smoothly and exactly as couple or fmaily would want it to for their special day.
