Living on the Mid North Coast and in the towns of Forster/Tuncurry means witnessing our amazing beaches and parklands being used every weekend for celebrations such as Weddings, Birthday parties and mass gatherinigs. The areas of BlackHead, Diamond beach, Forster/ Tuncurry down to the beautiful Green Cathedral, Pacific Palms and Seal Rocks offer a moderate, sunny climate where people flock in their thousands to enjoy our beaches, our cafes and restaurants, our quirky shops and to be Married.

I have been inspired to become a Celebrant through my many friends who constantly encouraged me to register as a Marriage Celebrant, as many of them had children marrying, or themselves were remarrying and wanted someone local who knew and appreciated the beauty of this area we live in.

I had lead solemn ceremonies for Anzac day, celebratory ceremonies for Australia Day and was Master of Ceremonies at many events including our local Town Balls. These eventuated into more personal ceremonies including Baby namings and then a funeral of a friend's child. After losing a friend to cancer and the disappointment of not being able to solemnise the marriage between he and his partner, I knew I could wait no longer and began my training.

Being a Marriage Celebrant has lead me in to the most wonderful time of my life, as I know how privileged I am to hear the beautiful words marrying couples say to one other; and so humbled when I hear the gasps of the groom upon seeing his bride enter the wedding space; and so moved when I witness the couples' tears as they express what they are feeling in their hearts for each other.

I am constantly in awe of and blown away by Love.

The experience of being married for over thirty years and having three beautiful daughters has lead me to recognise the importance of marriage, but even moreso the importance of celebrating and expressing our love and commitment to one another in a way that is memorable, fun loving and everlasting.

I feel passionate about helping couples create a legally binding, celebratory ceremony that tells their story and reflects who they are as individuals and as a couple and to ensure that I deliver a dignified, vibrant and beautiful ceremony where every guest will know that they are witnessing one of the happiest days in this couple's life.
