I was attracted to Marriage Celebrancy, a number of years ago, because it appeared to be an exciting, interesting, happy occupation for when I retired!
I have since discovered that it is, apart from all of that, a role of honour for me to be involved in such an important occasion with all of the couples who have chosen me to officiate at their weddings.
There have been many occasions of laughter and many of tears as the emotions of the ceremony pour out, from both brides and grooms!
I still haven’t retired from my role as an infants’ teacher but enjoy both roles with compassion and caring.
One of my strengths is my creativity gleaned from my experiences both in teaching, motherhood, and my love of the arts.
These skills help me to encourage and assist my couples to create a ceremony they will remember fondly.
