About 20 years ago I learned about Celebrancy and immediately knew it was something I wanted to do. Assisting a couple in designing their wedding was something that excited me, and I really desired to be able to do this. However, growing family, and all things that require an income kept me in the workforce.
As time went on and circumstances changed, I found I had the free time to revisit my passion and dream of Celebrancy.
In 2008 I was appointed and so has begun this wonderful stage of my life where I am doing what I really enjoy.
My life experience includes working in the Courts in Victoria, starting and running a sandwich bar with my husband, working for 2 sole practitioner solicitors, various ministries in my local church, and now Celebrancy. I have found the experience gained in the Courts and working for the solicitors has been invaluable, as is the experience gained running a small business. I believe each of these occupations assist me and adds to my expertise as a celebrant.
My passion has always been for people, and am so pleased I now have the time to dedicate to each ceremony. For me, it is very special to be a part of a couples' very private ceremony, and I do not take this lightly, but consider it a great honor.
I look forward to the challenge of each ceremony as, for me, each is individual and unique. Where you have blending of family members I believe it is very important this be done with love and compassion, and this is a special touch I enjoy. Confidentiality is assured.
I enjoy Celebrancy and give each ceremony all I can, emphasizing the making of memory and individuality. What special memories are created for the day when their status changes forever, and WOW, what a privilege.
