I used to be a school teacher, so I am accustomed to public speaking and communicating effectively and with feeling, empathy and humour.
I was appointed as a Civil Celebrant in September 2008. I love to be in the happy situation of assisting people through all of the process of becoming married, offering my full support and knowledge to facilitate this most important day for a couple.
My celebrant life has been building since last September, having conducted eight weddings, two funerals and three naming ceremonies, with three more weddings locked in.

My celebrant life has been building since last September, having conducted eight weddings, two funerals and three naming ceremonies, with three more weddings locked in.
My most treasured memory of being a celebrant is from the first wedding I conducted, when I was told after the ceremony by the bride's Mother that it was the most beautiful ceremony she had ever attended.
I would dearly like to be conducting at least two weddings per week. I get enormous pleasure and satisfaction from each wedding I am privileged to be involved in.
I mainly work on the Gold Coast in Queensland, but I also conduct ceremonies in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW.
Weddings are my forte, but I also feel very comfortable and capable assisting people in the welcoming or farewell of a loved one. Any ceremony in which I can participate effectively is a good ceremony.
