Appointed March 1995
I live in Innisfail, an hours drive from Cairns and Mission Beach - “From the Reef to the Rainforest, along the Tropical Coast" of Queensland. I was attracted to becoming a Celebrant after I attended a friends Wedding in 1994, and felt that the Celebrant, and in fact,- the whole ceremony, lacked warmth, happiness and passion.  With my Background working in Radio, On air and writing commercials, I decided to apply to become a Celebrant, so that I could give couples creative ideas and options, to reflect their personalities, ideals and beliefs, so that the day and ceremony, was meaningful and special for them, their family and friends.
I was appointed as a Celebrant in March 1995 and and have always felt very privileged to be part of such a special and memorable time in people’s lives. I enjoy travelling, - so happily perform weddings in Cairns, Innisfail, Mission Beach, Dunk Island, Tully and Cardwell areas.
Along my Ceremonies Journey, I have meet so many lovely and amazing people, in many different locations, from all walks of life, and the common thread that we all have, is that their wedding ceremony was exactly what they wanted. Because I am privileged to be a Marriage and Funeral celebrant, I will continue to learn and share and will always be passionate about ceremony, knowing what a powerful tool, words are, when delivered with love, honesty, passion and care, that leaves lasting impressions, moments and memories in people’s lives
