Review of this wonderful resource book by author: Wendy Haynes JP Civil Marriage Celebrant.
If you are serious about being a godparent, guardian or mentor this book I would highly recommend- beautifully written and an easy guide to being the very best you can be. From the beginning to the end of the book you are guided into how to develop your relationship with your godchild through the good times and not so good times. It touches on subjects children may ask about - why did my pet pass away? where is my place in life (especially teenagers) and it touches a little on some subjects that some parents may not be ready to talk to their child about the child may come to you to answer these questions. How to Be Inspiring gives you a few tips for listening to the child/teenager and being there way after they marry and leave the family home. Communication with your godchild is very prominent throughout the book.
How to Be Inspiring also touches on different religions and different countries which on a personal level I found very interesting to read.
How to Be Inspiring talks about when a guardian is asked to take guardianship of a minor, and some of the area’s to do with blood relatives in this situation.
Again it is a great read for godparents or parents wanting that special person for their child. I would highly recommend it.
If I had to give this book a rating I would give it a 4/5 the only reason I gave it a 4 was because I wanted to read more. Michelle Grace Civil Marriage Celebrant Dip FC Albury NSW / Wodonga Victoria
